Fiat used the Italian Motor Show to pull the wraps of the production version of the Grande Punto Abarth SS. And we’re still going to call it a Fiat first, and an Abarth second. The SS comes as a kit and will boost the Punto up to 178bhp and 199lb ft.
The McLaren P1 MSO (pictured) will debut at Pebble Beach 2014
It may be Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations in the news at the moment, but McLaren’s own Special Operations has been around since 2011, creating extreme examples of McLaren’s cars for deep-pocketed customers. And they’re back with two new MSO specials for this month’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The most impressive of the two MSO cars is, of course, a special edition of the already very special McLaren P1.
Mazda has released pictures of the Takeri concept ahead of the car's unveiling at the forthcoming Tokyo motor show. Said to preview the next generation 6, the concept is the second car from Mazda to adopt the 'Soul and Motion', or ‘Kodo', design language. The Takeri's DRG is dominated by the now familiar large Mazda grille, itself rimmed by a silver section that intersects the lamp graphic.
